We stayed in Cavos for 6 days and it was really great. We stayed there with a friendly couple and our children enjoyed the large yard and the swimming pool. The view was stunning indeed! The price was great too.
Some small drawbacks:
– plenty of mosquitoes
– at night you could spot some rats walking around (still, this is countryside and, yes, you get rats in the countryside)

The location is convenient only if you have your own means of transportation, though.
By car, Stavros village is ~ 5 minutes and the wonderful Ag. Ioannis beach is ~10 min away.
